Lifeworks Open Day Merrial Street
Lifeworks had a fantastic open day on the 15th February 2019.
The mayor of Newcastle-under-Lyme Gill Heesom came to officially open Lifeworks at our new premises in Merrial Street, Newcastle.
Our CEO Louise Zandian, our staff, trustees, volunteers and some of our clients and carers came along to support us, as well as professionals from the Autism Assessment Service, Job Centre Plus, N-u-L Council, Staffs University, North Staffs Carers Association, The Dyslexia Association and Radio Stoke.
The main purpose of the event was to network and introduce Lifeworks to new people and professionals and advertise ourselves through Radio Stoke. There was a buffet and cake, prosecco, and a raffle to raise funds.
Louise Zandian donated the cake and prosecco to celebrate the opening.
The buffet was sponsored by Morrison's Goose St, Adbeck Fabrications LTD and Prestige Roofing & Building Services.
Some of our volunteers, carers and clients donated items to the raffle. £86 was raised for Lifeworks which will go directly to us and will be used to help our clients.
Lifeworks would like to thank all who attended, donated and helped to organise this event as well as Gill Heesom for opening Lifeworks and Radio Stoke.
